Quality Matters in E-Learning - 38 (Webinar on Sequencing and Navigation of E-learning Contents)

Presentation Topic: Sequencing and Navigation of e-Learning Contents.

This webinar is about the sequencing and navigation of e-learning contents based on the SCORM 2004 3rd Edition Specification. The presenter will show how the same content can be sequenced in a few ways for our students to learn. Specifically, he will demonstrate the following sequences: no sequencing, linear sequencing, knowledge-paced sequencing, competency-based sequencing and remediation. There can be more than the five sequences mentioned above. He will also show some feedback from the students who have tried this approach. The following are the topics he will cover during the webinar:

1. Demonstration of some courses with different learning sequences
2. Feedback from students
3. Limitations of such learning sequencing
4. Comparison with intelligent tutoring systems
5. Future possibilities with sequencing and navigation of learning contents
